  • I think these two chicks are into each other! Lol!

  • I absolutely love foot massages. When it comes to tactile experiences, they feel as good as sex without the specifically erotic component. But I don't mistake the pleasure of a foot massage with this equine excrement known as reflexology. It has ABSOLUTELY NO BASIS IN ANATOMICAL REALITY. All this "ancient wisdom" is pseudoscientific claptrap. There's a reason why it's "ancient": Because NOW WE KNOW BETTER!

  • So if have cancer I cant get foot massages? %#@!

  • 1:03 onwards; lol if she always walked like that, filming/talking or no

  • @YD8189 You just defended my argument. I said that reflexology has no physical basis for its claims, but DESPITE that, it can have benefits. Whether or not the effectiveness of antidepressants treating depression is actually linked to fluctuation in serotonine levels, I can't comment. Perhaps it's true, perhaps not. But DESPITE that, there are benefits. The same principle applies to reflexology.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. You seem to agree with me.

As opposed to PSA testing which was denounced ultimately by its founder and declared medically unnecessary after studying 25,000 men. This highly touted test which has been considered the gold standard in the prevention of prostate cancer is yet one more orthodox medical marvel that has been shot down. By all means get it but keep in mind 237 men will have to be screened and 12 treated to save one life.

Bullshit? PSA testing is no less so than reflexology.

  • Just a note for anyone reading Jabberpocky' s biased defense of alliopathic medicine: A study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry suggested efficacious results from antidepressants were likely due to the placebo effect.

A study at Harvard to test the value of thoracic ligatures in the treatment of angina demonstrated that patients "fictitiously treated " (no procedure) showed an 80% improvement compared to 40% who were treated.

Care for any more "medical facts"?

  • The depth and breadth of this pseudoscience is amazing. The human imagination is truly limitless.

Just a note for anyone younger watching this; don't confuse this practice for medical fact. The connection this woman describes between the feet and your organs simply doesn't exist. Centuries of anatomical research (and common sense) will tell you that.

However, the effects of the placebo ARE real. Reflexology can have benefits, but they are purely somatic (in your mind) as opposed to physical.

  • Bollocks to all the hippy reflexology nonsense am just here for STELLAR STREET.

    Thumbs if you agree.
