Beauty came by her name because that was what All Creatures Great and Small Animal Rescue (ACGSR) saw in her at the Hollister Animal Shelter in September 2008. Like most dogs who come into the shelters, Beauty was roaming the streets as a stray. ACGSR promised to save her life, and Beauty waited patiently while they searched for a foster home. For the next two weeks, a volunteer would visit her daily at the shelter and take her to the dog park. Beauty was always happy to have a visitor and someone to play with, and would reward them with plenty of kisses. Finally ACGSR received a call from The Dog House Inn of Gilroy who offered to foster Beauty, and she is now temporarily a part of their pack.
Beauty is well-balanced, good-natured, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She knows basic obedience commands, and has been crate- and potty-trained. Beauty loves to go for walks and will benefit from additional leash training classes. Beauty is in excellent health, and has been spayed, received all vaccinations, is microchipped, heartworm negative, de-wormed, and has flea meds applied monthly. As she is light skinned, sunscreen needs to be applied in warmer weather, and she should not be exposed to the sun for long periods.
Referred to as a great ambassador for the Staffordshire Terriers by ACGSR, Beauty is ideal for those who love and respect the breed, and will make a wonderful edition to your family.
