Hornby new releases (Late 2008 - Early 2009)

Here are some new models which Hornby will be releasing btween the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009
Hopefully, I will be getting one of those T9's, but who knows.

UPDATE: All fo the T9's, Schools and Class 153's have been released, but the 4MT still hasn't, but then again, Bachmann also do a 4MT to the same design so that could be purchased instead!
At Hattons ( http://www.ehattons.co.uk/ ) Most of the T9's have sold out! Luckily, though, I have mine from there and it is excellent, though it only pulls three coaches without slipping. It has been run in a bit now and it happily pulls 5 coaches, though it does still slip a bit

one thing that puzzles me....... why do southern railway 00 models cost more that say GWR or LNER ones???

Probably because loads of Hornby's Customers are Southern Railway fans and they can make a lot of profit from them. Also, their GWR locomotives aren't to as good standard as the SR ones, but that still doesn't explain about LNER locomotives.

personally, i think that the t9s would be a more decent model than a school. I think the current edward model is an old modified school, anyway. just thought i would say.

actually they don't. I just used that as an example. They aren't really R.W.S Accurate for a few reasons:

-Duck doesn't have his RWS number

-Toby is not painted RWS Livery

-Edward has a number (didn't have one in the RWS)

-And more!

Yeah the currrent model is way to long! Even for the so called "R.W.S Accurate" slogan they have
