Sid the pet Sparrow takes bath and cuddles

Sid is our pet sparrow. He was rescued as a baby from the barn. In the movie he takes a light bath and then cuddles with his adopted parents(not that he knows that).

@gumdrop814 at my barn a long time ago. he fell from a nest in the rafters, so I took him home instead of the barn cats eating him.

haha, so cute. do your friends make fun of you for having a pet sparrow? We recently rescued a baby from our friends cat who was batting it around the floor, he's still a baby but so tame and gets along well with our other birds (budgies) but everyone thinks we're nuts when we tell them we have a pet sparrow! :)

@laurienkate When we tell people we have sparrows, they at first are like cool, and then they realize we said sparrow. They usually have a 10 second realization of what we said.. To break them out of their trans we tell them how we got them and proceed from there. Sid is the one that likes people the most, so usually when we she them our birds, they are most interested in him.

@reyjeffaidendx He has collected 2 other sparrow friends over the years. One is a girl named little thing or Petunia(over half a year now and we still can't decide on a final name), and Baby Bird which we received a year or two after Sid

@musique1975 Thx. This video was shot about 3 years ago. We did have Sid outside before when he was younger to see if he would stay around us. He got scared and flew off. We went the direction he flew and heard him calling for us. Following his call we found him hidden and scared in a pine tree I think. We caught him and decided he did not prefer the outdoors by any means. So no I don't think Sid would fly away on purpose, but out of scared-om.
