You still nasty I see though. I played a little with someone else's PS3 since mine still won't work. Ughhh!!! I will be so pissed if I can't play BF3.

@DeadCamper haha interesting... well, I already have it pre-ordered and I don't think I'll cancel it, so I guess I'll see how I like the game when it comes out =)

@wo0ter Well, the beta we're playing is a very old build with lots of glitches (most of them are already ironed out in the real game), one of the glitches being that you take more damage than intended when you move around. This ironically means that it's harder to kill proning enemies, but you can one-shot running enemies. That's probably why you feel like you die constantly. :>

@DeadCamper true! but sigh, I dunno.. the gameplay feels so far removed from BFBC2 =( With proning and such little health, it almost feels too close to CoD. Like in BFBC2 if I started getting shot at, half the time I could run for cover and prepare to fight off the guy shooting me...or I could turn around before I die and have a small chance at winning the fight. But in this game, people die almost instantly. I guess I was hoping this game would be exactly like BFBC2 with cracked out graphics

Yeah, we're all getting used to it at the moment. But just like with any new game, once we get used to the maps and mechanics we'll all do better.
One tip I can give you is to try out the 870 shotgun, it's very effective for running and gunning
