Forza 3 with Fanatec: Laguna Seca Corvette C6 Z06

Im not a great driver, and my lap times are definitely not at the top of the worldwide rankings, but here goes anyway. Im using the Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S wheel and Clubsport pedals in my sim rig playing Forza Motorsport 3. I started using the wheel and pedal combo recently and have been practicing heel and toe so I figured Id capture the foot-box and merge my real feet with my virtual hands.

Apologies, but the black screens are because the Forza video exporter only gives 29 and 28/30ths of 30 seconds per export, so I needed to do some fill work. Even so the foot-box loses synch around the middle of lap 3. And for some reason the last 20 second video had no sound, so I had to use the soundtrack from the foot-box clip (why you hear the clicking of the shifter at the end). I need to figure out a better way to grab video from the replays.

Im definitely enjoying racing with this setup, and fully recommend it to anyone else who wants a better experience than you get with a controller (or the Microsoft Wireless wheel). My lap times are still down as compared to before I got the Fanatec setup, probably because its much more complicated now (3 vs 2 pedals and a gear selector vs flappy-paddles), but in this race I set a personal best time on this course with this car.

I still need much practice! Ive developed a bad habit of switching right to left foot braking while still in a braking zone, which probably upsets the car pretty bad (this would probably send me off track during an actual track day).
