@nicko978 i did not know that, thank you so much. I can make "pine pitch" fine so I'll use that for the glue. :)

@cyberjackcyberjack even if the bark is thin you can soak strips in hot water and make it pliable enough to glue together to make small canisters. Wood glue works if you don't feel like making pine pitch.

@cyberjackcyberjack season and region makes a difference. the colder it is the thicker it is. some birch bark is paper thin and doesn't peel like this.
