Hurricane Earl remains a category four storm, with winds near 145 miles per hour. The storm is centered about 400 miles off Cape Hatteras, NC. Hurricane watches extend as far north as Massachusetts. (Sept. 2)

  • Of all the government kind of authorities we have weather people seem to be believable. Otherwise they are all just "waving their wands".

  • All I can say is folks that might be in the path you better look out make plans at least fill your car up have water for a few days fill your bathtub you will need it either for drinking or flushing. If you are all electric have a coleman stove or an alcoholstove to heat up some grits or a can of food. Dont go near downed power lines and watch for hanging debris. I have plenty lights all LED that use AA or AA batteries sams sells enough of them for 20 storms $20. Please stay safe.
