Is Africa addicted to AID....isn't it obvious...a BIG YES....

I think its more extortion than AID. If the Western countries tried to manage the African AID, the African nations trot out that colonialism thing....grown up people...

The biggest problem of Africa is no matter how much aid they constantly demand and receive, they themselves hardly show any self-will to positively develop their current situation.

We all know what the long, hard time they went through, and that shall never be forgotten nor denied. However, Now africans have the chance to show genuine efforts for better. The first step is to overthrow their specially sinister corruption. Then, Africa will have more power to use as strategy.

So our involvement makes the problem much worse. If we never involved in africans well being their population would be similar or much smaller at this time. And they would actually be able to share their income for a society to emerge.

Now thats impossible, because we got a overpopulated africa dependant on our food supplies and theyre all bone meagre completely unable to do anything.

Now theyre overpopulated without any kind of self production. And meanwhile the western societies are being in a recession and are forced to close one or more institutions, and food supply to african countries for example is one of those in danger to be closed.

What will happen to the africans?

THEY ALL DIE.

We supplied all their food.

So they can die from starvation once our society cripples.

Africans didnt ask for this, but you cant blame someone for accepting medical and food aid

It's not africas fault other then that they dont work, its our fault.

Africa never demanded or suggested they would independantly improve their societies.

We the western countries supplied food supplies for decades. Which skyrocketed the african population.

But the africans didnt ask for this.

Stupid organisations are born that ask our money to supply food for africa.

BUT THIS IS STUPID.

WE actually finance the supply of africas overpopulation, without africans actually asking for it.

Africa has been plagued by natural disasters since the beginning of time, which have contributed to much of the destruction of its wild life and human life. Yet these are the checks and balances of Mother Nature, ones which humans have no control over. The continent also holds vast riches that have been exploited in the name of Colonialism, but what greater treasure is there than human life itself? Therein lies the heart of the matter, for the degradation of Africa is the greatest loss of man.

@hereticarmy You also have to factor in their own corruption by their own people. Oh and to assume African countries are the only ones receiving foreign aid constantly is inane. This implies you no nothing of the world around you and history for that matter.

@hereticarmy Oh just like Greece needed foreign aid and so forth. Africa has been played by the U.S and Europe. Now the European countries/U.S are manipulating their own people. You have Spain, Greece, Ireland etc going bankrupt because their governments mishandled their money. The monetary system is failing and money is being printed with no standard behind it. It's asinine how people proclaim Africa as being inefficient when they have been played the same way repeatedly by these forces.

Racial comments are idiotic.  Stick to the discussion about aid. Looks to me like they've been wasteful, counterproductive. Lone advocate works for the World Bank and has a vested interest in marketing aid.
