OK, take two. This time I used some 2" wide insertion rubber (about 1mm thick) between the axle and the clamp. There wasn't any noticeable slippage even after 20 minutes of bouncing around in the paddock. Please note: my paddocks are NOT smooth!! Should be excellent on the beach. Getting the camera a bit further back and slightly higher allows me to get a bit more of the kite and buggy in the shot. Kite is an Ozone Access XC6m. The ultimate no fuss, low lift cruising kite?? Although you may notice at one point it does start to lift me out of the seat....must pay more attention to where that kite is!...

  • this is not a video of how to mount the gopro

  • @PocketTunalls perhaps I should have titled it 'how I mounted my gopro to a buggy'. The title seemed apt considering the result I got in 'how not to mount your gopro'

  • dude... dont forget to use that orange thing that came with the mounts.... it will shake less and you wont have that crazy clicking sound

  • I wondered what that was for!! But I have been using it, in fact it became very apparent that without it, the mount would be quite wobbly. It was a very rough paddock and I'm surprised the camera did as well as it did.

  • Great video and experience. You should use the r3 parameters for better results (720p/60fps)

  • Lots of experimenting still to do!! Thanks

  • Lol I know what u mean by the lift. I have a access 2 10m. It's lifted me a few times out of the buggy...my fault of course lifting it to quick through the wind window lol. Se good footage there. I'm just waiting on my go pro HD coming through the post... can't wait.

  • great quality

  • Oh, i see you fixed the problem. Again: Great idea. Keep on filming.
