@96emilymarie heya :) I think it's about a guy who's in love with this girl, but he's just despairing because she's so unobtainable and he can't keep a hold of her, and it's becoming too one-sided; I think that's why at the beginning she says she goes 'back to her owner', because she doesn't really love him like he does her. I dunno tho, that's what I glean from it :) either way, I love this song.
