This is a remake of a 1997 HBO made-for-tv movie of the same name, with the same basic idea, and many of the same actors, but he had millions of dollars, yet George still proved that HBO can make something better then Lucasfilms on a lower buget. the 1997 Red Tails was good, the 2012 one is terrible. (not to mention that the dialoge was terribly executed and it is rascist towards Germans). Lucas said no studio would take it, and that was for a good reason.
