    My apologies too. The root note for open D is 5th fret of the A string if you play the chord based on the C shape, the root for the Eaug is the 7th fret on the A string (if you play the chord using the A,D,G,B stings and mute the high E), the root for the F#m (played at the 5th fret) is 4th fret of the D string, for Dm (played at 5th fret) the root is 5th fret on the A string, and for E7 it is 7th fret on A. I believe this is correct and hope this helps.
