fox goes to way too many commercial breaks if you look at the 2004 shootout on nbc they went commercial free throughout the whole 20 laps.

Yeah I can see it. 2002 was the last season of a remotely stock front end. Now the cars are just ridiculous.

yeah it was...this race was pretty good though. I remember when these bodies came out, at the restrictor plate tracks the cars would have really tall front valences...it doesn't look like they do here?

This was the year NASCAR really ruined the cars. They removed all remaining stock sheet metal and made the cars over a foot wider and longer. This was also the year all of the downforce and coil binding crap began.
