Victor 1 is a VFR Coastal Route within the Class G airspace east of the Sydney Control Zone and Control Area. Aircraft can track from Long Reef to South Head at 1000ft (Victor 1 North), then from South Head to Jibbon Point at Cronulla at 500ft (Victor 1 South). Victor 1 runs directly below the approach path for Sydney Runways 25 and 34 Left and Right. Contour flying of the Eastern Suburbs beaches is not permitted and all passengers must wear life vests. Our flight plan tracked Bankstown, Parramatta, Hornsby, Patonga, Palm Beach, Long Reef, Victor 1, Stanwell Park, Wedderburn, Liverpool and back to Bankstown. From the beautiful Northern Beaches to the rugged coastline of the Royal National Park, Victor 1 is a great way to experience Sydney and surrounds.
