You're talking about a subject you know nothing about.

EVs use 1/10th to 1/20th the energy of a gasoline powered car. Even if you get your power from the dirtiest coal power station on earth you can still run 10 EVs on the power needed to run just 1 gas car.

Why do you think EVs are so much cheaper to run?

Agreed! The EV-1 had a posted range of 120 miles. Now with over a decade of technology, all they can do is 40 miles? Do they think were all stupid enough that we forgot about the EV1, like they wanted us to?

@hockeykid962 Electric cars cost around $2-$4 to go about 100 miles. That would cost around $16 for a gas car given the current gas prices. Also since electric doesn't have oil to change every 3,000 miles, and require far less maintenance, you save there too. Yes there are a lot of power plants that burn coal, causing pollution, but you aren't required to use that... Get some solar cells & wind turbines and then you don't pollute at all. Costs will come down the more ppl jump on board.

@kwtblack2: Concept is a show car to reflect ideasand show what is possible ! I´m upset with that ! Quit the concept and BUILD IT ! Put on the road for 2012 !! Why wait for the next Oil crisis to come !! Remember $147 for barrel for Oil (2008)?!! It is just frustating !! Nissian, Mitsubishi, Renault and Chevrolet ( Volt) have NOT waited ! Their electric cars are going to be on the road this year or in 2012 ! It is crazy to wait !!
