The Pirate Tapes is a ground breaking documentary by Director Mohamed Ashareh. The 22 Year Old Canadian Filmmaker and Producer Mohamed Ashareh lives among Somali Pirates and exposes the truth behind piracy and toxic waste that has destroyed Somalia for over two decades. Unfortunately his documentary was pirated by a Canadian Post Production Company, Palmira PDC, where they destroyed the film, compromised the truth and stole the voices of the Somali People.
