Today's show is a video review of the Wacom Intuos 4 Wireless tablet. It features 8 express keys with configurable OLED displays and a touch wheel. It connects by bluetooth and is pressure and tilt sensitive. We discuss it's price, features and how useful it is to a digital photographer.

  • would it not be better to let someone test a graphic tablet who is able to paint?

  • @jdnh4bgddde Graphics tablets aren't *just* for natural media artists. Photographers use them too and my show is aimed at photographers. So I choose to give a point of view appropriate to my audience. I'm sure the opinion of a natural media artist like a painter, pencil or charcoal artist might be quite different. But that's not my audience.

  • You have to give it back?... WAIT Before you do, can you show me how durable it is by throwing it against that wall behind you?...

  • @BunnyManBridge LOL - too late my friend. It went back months ago. Otherwise, obviously, I would have been happy to oblige..

  • can i use it as underlayment when im drawing with normal pen and paper? or does it scratch..

  • @TheCastaway15 Well mine has gone back now - it was a review loaner. But yeah it felt a little bit loose. Not very loose, just a little bit.

  • @photowalkthrough its not broken it works... power switch feels loose?.. is urs tight? cuz i can wiggle mine...

  • @TheCastaway15 Im not totally sure what you mean by "wonky" but Im pretty sure the answer to this question is no. Is yours broken?

  • Hey, is the power switch on intuos4 wireless suppose to be wonky?

  • Bluetooth will make your life miserable. T400 Lenovo with built in Bluetooth will not interoperate properly. Each session loses your preferences, which you must reset for each session. Even then, not only do you lose preferences but you also lose your lights on the sidebar. I can't use the wireless with any preferences. Question you have to ask yourself is: Am I an artist or a programer? If you are both, go for it. it's been a nightmare of support issues for me! I gave up and just use the usb.
