Not really. You get more bang for your buck out of AMD. Intel charges way too much for something that is just as good as AMD. The only thing better than AMD cpus at this point is the i7, and no one can afford those, so most people just get a Phenom II.

@bsharp74653 yeah right. I did go with a phenom II 965 but intel is way better for overclocking. the i7-920 can go from 2.6ghz to 4.5ghz on air no problem...
