* The default "remove from file" border removal option actually leaves the video portion as is. It just removes black borders if the video has them itself. Some older wide-screen movies have these, and if you convert movies with those left in there, they will be treated as part of the video, which restricts the zoom/scale capabilities of the player.
*It looks like you have 4 cores, instead of "fast" try the "plain" profile instead.
