My parents brought me up with morals, and that is why I decided not to have sex until I was fully ready. Hell, my parents didn't even NEED to talk to me about sex, I already knew promiscuity it wasn't what I wanted.

I have literally been asked by people I barely knew if I wanted to have sex with them. I'm not surprised insecure girls jump on the occasion.

Having sex at such a young age is sad and don't tell me because they like it, it was consensual or they were in love and not slutting around, please. I love Tyra, her heart is at the right place but there is nothing WRONG to having sex young (consensually) ...however, I feel that most of the issues raised here have to do with peer pressure and social glamorization of "teen moms". Over 50% not using protection comes from the LACK of sex education in America. Why only interview teen GIRLS? The media here are setting us back 50-80 years ago where it was "bad" for women to have sex and they were demonized as being the carriers of STI's.

Im in middle school and I have been VERY temped to have sex. People dont learn about sex from their parents they learn about it from school, online, porn, perverts, friends, movies. Sex is litterally everywhere. I know exactly why those girls are so honest because I was like that too. They want attention and they LIKE sex. Hi Tyra! I am 26 years old with twin boys ages 4. I did not loose my virginty until the age of 19 and I am proud of that because I have waited so long I am in college majoring in Criminal Justice and doing awesome. Guess what I am black. I wish that most teenagers would wait that long. There are so many STD's out there. 64roddan needs to wake up because the show about sex was amazing and maybe she is in the same perdicitment with the other teenagers that came on this particular show.
