managed to see Ian for the first time in Spruce Grove,Alta this last Friday night..have no idea why I waited so long..have loved his music for years. I went with my ex-wife and as I listened to this song realized how little it has too do with the title..Ian is an amazing wordsmith!!

I was lucky enough to see Ian Tyson in Concert at Longview, Alberta in 2004, he's an amazing singer. 2 1/2 hour concert pure magic. I live in Scotland and we don't ever hear him on our radio stations.

Yep, that was kind of nice! Thought about the best man at my wedding, in fact. Man, he was/is something else! Invited me to be his friend on fb recently and I said yes but, hardly a word from him... I need to be more clear with him I guess. :D

I know just what to say... so, I know I won't forget to do it. Something tells me he just was wondering if I was still friends with the one he married. Poor guy... I sure don't want to discourage him but, her mom told me not good timing. ;S
