The wind was blowing NE around 18-28mph, there was only one place to be....Mablethorpe. The beach this year I have to say is no where near as good as it has been in previous years...once the tide goes out, there used to be a good 4 mile rock hard drag strip. This year the beach is quite lumpy and there seems to be quite a few creeks appeared across our "normal runs"...these are a nuisance, as they greatly hinders any good long speeds runs, and it also puts you on edge as you are never quite sure when they are coming up....they are not huge, probably between 2"-6" deep, but hit them at 40 plus mph and no matter how heavy your buggy is you will become airborne, as I found out on at least two occasions today. But that being said it was still another great day in the buggy surrounded by good friends old and new. I have to also mention, the more I fly these Cooper kites the more I am liking them, I have not pushed them to their limits yet, but get them dialed in and they just keep pulling and pulling....Likewise the Dominator is a buggy that has me feeling very secure, no matter how gusty the wind is, I feel safe, and I have that feeling again like I had with the first Dom of the buggy rides like its on railway lines...I felt so at ease with the buggy and the kite, I even had a session of half an hour being hot wired, and at first it felt strange, but after very about 5 minutes and a few turns, I was feeling totally comfortable. Impressed with both kites and buggy.
i guess its your fault that i just ordered my first power kite.
ive enjoyed watching your vids.
wouldnt mind getting to watch you live in mablethorpe sometime
