Ellen Snortland At The Improv - 2011-03-13.mov

This is the culmination of the Standup Comedy class I took offered by the amazing Judy Carter and taught by her and the wonderful Cary Odes. After 30 years of teaching, this was her last class in the US, so the evening was both exciting and poignant. Graduation involves the real thing: doing 5 minutes of standup at the famed Hollywood Improv! And for an extra bonus? Out of our class of 15, I was picked to go first ... hey, no pressure! :) Check out my big-time standup debut in front of a sold-out crowd of 300.
