Hollywood stars participate in a Mexican-themed revue and festival in Santa Barbara. Andy Devine, the "World's Greatest Matador", engages in a bullfight with a dubious bovine supplied by Señor Keaton, and musical numbers are provided by Joe Morrison and the Garland Sisters. Comedy bits and dance numbers are also featured.

Thanks for posting this amazing video!

  • the colours are incredible - thankyou

  • Wow...Buster is amazing. He transcends time and space, silence and sound, and black and white and color. It is so weird to see him in color after watching all of his old movies. For being a movie made in 1935 the color in this is awesome!

  • @sissillian1 actually, Judy's first color film footage was Bubbles (1929). but, so far only a black and white film strip has been found.

  • This is incredible.

  • One of the first full-color Technicolor films ever made. 1935. Beautifully preserved.

  • this is amusing, especially for old Santa Barbarans.

  • Harpo Marx at 2:41!!

  • And I thought that this was a Spanish celebration!
