I could be biased because I love Julie so much and she had such short hair in the movie but I feel like a Maria with long hair just doesn't work. It's more fitting to her rebellious character to have short hair or at least, have her hair pulled back. Granted I have seen a production with an actress who had long hair, and she was very good. But still, i prefer short. :)

I loved the semi-finalists, except I would have preferred to see Belinda there rather than one either Aoife or Abi. Abi was a wonderful actress but she really did have a lot of pitch problems, and I just don't think Aoife's voice could reach the top notes - she had that problem in this song.

Connie, Aoife and Siobhan were the best. I saw Connie in Edinburgh nearly a week ago, and she was so good, i'm actually seeing it again next month.
