  • lmfaoooo!

  • Ok everyone shut up. Ford- 5.0 liter v8+ 414hp (non-Boss) meanwhile, Chevy has to make a 6.2 liter v8 to make the same amount of hp as the 5.0. That just embarrassing on chevys part that they dont know how to utilize cubes. FORD FTW

  • @semeponedura a larger chamber allows for more intake. more intake means fuel, more fuel (usually) means more compression, more compression means more power. there is no replacement for displacement. you arent on heroine but you dumb as fuck.

  • Cant support that power without a blower amazing heads or crazy compression....

  • @Semeponedura Wrong, cubes are essential... how do you think a 1.6 liter makes 200hp? No many cubes but better flowing heads or bump in compression... put E7 heads from a 302 on a 351, its gonna make more power than the 302.. why you ask? More cubes

Yes you can compensate for having less cubes with good flowing heads boost or a bump in compression but cubes is the sinplest way to make power... tell me how many 600hp lawnmowers there are... none, why? The size of there motors (cubic inches ;) )

  • @91fiveohnotch Are you on heroine? or stuck in the 70s? Displacement has nothing to do with horsepower or torque.

  • in the end the ls4 is a better comparison to the 5.0 ford v8. but i guess we will have to agree to disagree.

  • the ls3 has more potential hp due to its displacment. that was my first comment. the ls3 is also an older design with simplicity to it. it also has a lower compression. this allows for a longer life span (in theory). in that sense its the ls3 taking dumps on ford. yes a ford dohc has beter working valves. but how good they work is a matter of tuning them. it also matters how long the ports are open. more valves in most cases means better, but not in all cases.

  • @1911harbinger no matter how much we argue we clearly have 2 different views mine is ford GM

    Yours GM Ford

    Its never gonna change

And an LS has no more potential than a Dohc ford motor, once again it's physics. If your heads dont flow quite as well use a blower or bump compression or add some cubes... what ever it takes to even the field

  • @91fiveohnotch p.s. a vette with an ls3 is the base model. thats not 'an all out try' as you describe it. and if your excuse is because you gots a pony car then you need to go buy a corolla and stop racing.
