This is absolutely true - as an HE parent who has employed both structured and autonomous approaches, my 8 year old has learnt the most from the latter. She has learnt through a natural progression how to tell the time and she is also an excellent reader. HE is an amazing opportunity which needs to be better understood and protected.

This is the kind of information I want to see more of when it comes to autonomous/home education. There is no controversy here, just plain facts about autonomous education, and how different the approach is if you want to try to understand how it works.

And I love the background setting, with all the noise and movements from people attending the HESFES. I envy that, living in a country (Sweden), where the authorities now will ban home education all together in the new school law.
