@egagu1976 the spanish didnt do anything, all the British forces died of disease. If not for Yellow fever, spain would have lost a large part of its colonial empire
@LordGeorgeRodney Yes, it is true that Gibraltar was bravely defended -several times. But we won that war in the end.
The victory at Cartagena in 1741 was crucial not only because of how incredibly unbalanced it was, but also due to the strategic implications a British victory would have had, given that we are talking about the gateway to the Americas.
And about the Quadruple Alliance war, what to say... pretty much everybody allied against us. We achieved a decent casualty ratio.
If the retarded Italian-New Yorker troll really loved that, he should have seen how the allies beat his Egypto-Syrio-Palestinian-Anatolian-Jewish-Moorish Italian peepz.
@OurOxygen how about a Frenchman in Cadiz who wrote all information... Chevalier D'Arcon of the French Corps of Engineers who witnessed the battle & described in detail and Spanish - ''Francisco Montero, : Historia de Gibraltar y de su campo''
The english have always been excellent sailors and soldiers.

@HerrOttoKranz The siege of Gibraltar was a big victory in Britian so much so that it & the battle of Saintes made a good peace out of the war,,
But the same can be said for the invasion of Georgia in 1742
