@gamutman -- I know! My light is pretty low, even in summer, so I'll be sticking to lettuce and some herbs, but it will be nice to get decent lettuce year-round, and not to worry about it going bad overnight in the fridge :)

@gamutman -- my mum's place, on the other hand, gets awesome light, so there are strawberries in her future (and unlike the ones we tried to grow outside, these won't be devoured by slugs before they're ripe)

I saw Windowsfarm and thought of Microsoft Windows. At first I thought it said Wind Farm.

But yeah I get the point of it.

@TheLizardLass I have the same slug issues with my strawberries. I tried a strawberry pot to get them off the ground, but it didn't help.
