Bitter Sweet ll A Jemi One-Shot ll (for therealmerock contest)

Its not just another school day for St. Judes. Why? Well its because a new guy just transfered in the school. This should be interesting ;D



Well I guess thing are ALREADY interesting. Look at the new transfer student on the second floor. the part where students never came to. Look like he's trying to commit suicide.. "I want to fall in love" he whispered to the wind. And with that. He jumped off the side....

While walking along the side of the building, Demi was just passing by. But just then, something made her so shocked that she could pee her pants. Wanna know what? A guy just jumped from the second floor and landed right in her arms. "Oh My Gosh are you okay?!" Demi said while putting him down. The guy looked at her and said " Have you ever been in love?". Demi thought for a moment and said "No.. I havent...." The guy smiled and said "Is there someone YOU love?" Dem had a confused look on her face and said "Uhmm. No." The guy randomly reached out of his pocket and grabbed a piece of chocolate and gave it to her. "You dont know happy I am that you said that" he said with a smile and with that. He walked away..Why did he say that? What's the chocolate for? Just wait and see :)



Just when the bell rang, Demi rushed to her class. She sat next to her best friend Selena and said "Morning Sel! :D" Selena squinted her eyes in suspicion. "Where were you this morning?" Demi still couldnt beleive what just happend. "You wont beleive when I tell you this but-" Demi was interrupted by her teacher but sure enough. She was shocked to see who was right beside her. Her mouth dropped in awe. "Whats wrong Dems?" Selena said. But she couldnt concentrate. She was looking at the boy who landded on her arms this morning who was smiling at her right now. "Class, this is Joseph Adam Jonas or should I say Joe. He will be staying here for the remeinder of months we have for this year." The teacher then asked Joe to sit next to the other chair beside me.


Lunch time. Demi told Selena of what happend this morning. Selena listened to every detail. When the story was done, she said "That was AMA-he's coming to our table!" Demi looked at her direction. "Hello! My name s Joe. Can i sit here?" "Sure" Selena said giving him a welcoming smile. "Did you eat the chocolate yet?" He said as his eyes met Demi's. Demi shook her head and answered "No" Joe just smiled and started eating but suddenly stopped. "Excuse me Selena but can you excuse us? I just want to show Demi something." he said with that beautiful smile of his. Selena grinned and looked at Demi "Of course" With that they left the cafeteria. Slena was left there smiling to her self. "Theyre in love" she said and started eating her lunch.

He took Demi to the football field and began saying"This morning you told me you have never fell in love. Is that true?" Demi simply nodded. "Well thats hard to beleive. I find you very beautiful." Demi blushed deep red and asked "Why did you jump?" Joe simply ignored the question. Like Demi didnt even say it. "Do you want me to teach you or better yet show you love?" "Yes." Demi said. Joe held out his pinky and said "Promise?" Demi grabbed it and said in response "Promise." Demi smiled and suddenly frowned. "As long as you dont hurt me." Joe shook his head and said "Give me the chocolate" with a confused look. Demi gave him the chocolate and said "I dont understand". Joe simply smiled and said "Exactly" while removing the chocolate wrapper. He placed it in her mouth and said "Now tell me what you taste." Demi slowly chewed and said "It tastes sweet and yummy!.........and now its..bitter?". Joe laughed and said "Thats what love is.". "I dont get it?" Demi said. But Joe simply kissed her lips "I'll telll you tomorrow. I promise"




The next Day, Demi was late for school. She was thinking of Joe all night. She was inlove. She ran to her class as fast as she could cause she wanted to see Joe again so much. She arrived in her classroom and saw that her teacher was sad. "I was just in the middle of telling everyone the bad news" Demi looked at Joe's seat and saw that it was empty. "Whats the bad news miss?" she asked. "Joseph Adam Jonas died yesterday in a car crash. They found these in his front seat car. Theyre addressed to you miss Lovato." She handed me the heart shaped box of chocolate and there was a note attached to it that said:

"Love is like Bitter Sweet Chocolate"

She felt numb as she was staring at the sheet of paper and knew...there were tears starting to form in her eyes. That was the end of her first romance.Remember guys, Love isn't always sweet. It has its dark times too. But no matter what you should always keep loving because its the only thing that makes life bearable. Not everyone gets their happy ending. Always remember "Love is like bitter sweet chocolate"
