Lemon Parade is way on up there in my fav-albums. Melodies from the clouds or somewhere nice.

Such a hauntingly beautiful song... so glad I rediscovered Tonic <3

what a fucking intro !!

All great songs on this album, but "Casual Affair" and "Mountain" just blow me away.....having been there.

@VerticalHorizonFreak His father disappeared on January 21, 1980 and has not been seen since. He had been battling paranoia and schizophrenia but often resisted treatment. It's a very troubling story and a very sad story, which makes this song even more difficult to hear, especially for anybody whose family member has also battled mental illness. Still, one of the best songs on this (or any) Tonic album!

I've listened to this song countless times. I could always relate somehow but I didn't know where this song originated. Sad. Those lingering guitar notes are so reminiscent of the persistant pain of abuse.

This song is just truly amazing. Honestly, I just don't know how Emerson did it. Gives me goosebumps each time.
For those who don't know, his father was an abusive schizophrenic who abandoned him when he was a child.
This song is so sad, but beautiful at the same time.
I can't believe how many songs on this album are SO DAMNED GOOD!!! Sometimes a group puts out an album where there isnt a bad song in the lot!! Maybe it's because I just listen and listen over and over to a CD sometimes.. so I get accustomed to all the songs.. but DAMN this one is good!!

Lemon Parade is a classic.... these guys are one of the most underrated alternative/roots bands ever, all songs are well structured.
