  • Murtha is a corrupt criminal that should spend at least ten years in jail for his crimes against the people of the United States...

  • Murtha is a prime example of just what is going on in our government and it will get worse if we don't start questioning and refusing to believe the garbage that is being served up to us.

  • Are you fucking kidding me? guess i need to educate myself on the house more. With all the technology we have they use which side screams louder to decide some things? What the fuck is this a pep rally? someone correct me if im wrong.

  • Look! It's so amazing! Corruption and fraude in the US House of Representatives. It means that we in Romania aren't the only ones who are doing that. Take a look

  • Damnn.. I accually saw some corruption for the first time..

  • never mind questioning these idiots, start hanging them and that will stop the corruption!

  • This is how the Democrates ran the place.....Dispicible.

  • Well, he's dead, too bad some IDIOT is going to name a ship after him!

  • @Sulla2300 Agreed -- the proper strategy would have been to appeal here. I don't agree with the statement from the chair "The chair's decision is not subject to question" - the foundation of a ruling from the chair is that it can be appealed by the assembly. The only exception I can think of (and the only reason that an appeal would would be useless here) is if U.S. House Rules prevent it - I'm not knowledgeable enough on said Rules to say with certainty as to whether this is the case or not.

  • When Senssenbrenner made the point of order that 1/5 of the members present did not support the request for a recorded vote, and Murtha ruled the point of order out of order, why didn't he appeal the ruling on the point of order to the whole house? Since more republicans were present, he would have won the vote..

  • i don't get it, what are they voting over? i heard "Journal" are the widdle Republicans getting pissy over something trivial as usual. i agree Murtha is a bozo, but gauging from these comments, Murtha just killed everyones grandma.
