Day 2, The 7th hole (Masserene)
540 yards, slight wind against, Driver.
K-Dawg stands silently, centering himself be the ball Danny, be the ball. The cameraman staggers forward with the Canon SX10, the picture shakes as he focuses on the local hero, M. Baird. Who wouldnt get nervous in the presence of this Northern Irish maestro?
Half shandy swing, takes a step back and stares down the fairway. Aims wide right, a few wiggles, does a little hoover maneouver before winding up and striking through. He looks anxious. Yip, pushed it right. Exhales as he returns to the back of the tee.
The Big Dawg powers up, adjusts his glove, then heads into his pocket for a cheeky scratch of the ging gangs. Locates a suitably flat area of the tee. Picks his plot of real estate and takes a leisurely practice swing. Settles down, stretches the arms out, bounces a few times (you could say bouncy, bouncy), gives it 110% and chases the ball.
Some amateur camerawork before the Law Man steps up to the dance floor. Quarter shandy swing, 2 glances, several wiggles, looks like hes dancing on some hot coal. Big out to in swing. Watches it. Bends over to pick the tee and Bairds already half way through his provisional swing! Wave for the fans.
