i was a big sale fan at the beginning but week after week...i became a claude/Shae-Lynn fan b/c they were just so amazing...i think they should have won...
i can't wait for the new season..counting down the days :)
@LittleDragon2000: Definitely, Bourne&Lemieux were the superior skating team. Over the seven weeks of competition, the best overall skating performance was clearly delivered by Bourne&Lemieux (with a special mention to the performance of Bourne&Lemieux in the above video clip that occurred in week #3 - it was simply amazing!!).
It was only because of the fact that the winner was based only on text-website voting that Sale&Simpson won. Simpson certainly didn't skate better than Lemieux.
I couldn't hear the audio, but this was incredible to watch. Shae and Claude are wonderful together, with such passion and chemistry. Thank you so much for posting these for those of us unable to view the show. It exceeded my expectations and I am really missing it being out of Canada at present. Thanks again

I watched Battle of the Blades faithfully last year because I love Shae-Lynn
. Bourne. She in my opinion is beautiful in every way. She is like a dream when
she performs. The way they skated together (Claude Lemieux) was breathtaking.
As always she got robbed. I have followed her career for a long time. Like I said
a great injustice was done. Hope we see her this year for sure.

The giveaway fact is that Bourne and Lemieux have the most routines up on youtube. This actually had proper tango dance steps in it.

The main problem with Battle of the Blades was the main problem with Canadian Idol - multiple voting in multiple formats.
Winners decided by voting blocks and networks.
And because it was an English-language only show, broadcast only on the English network, the Quebec skaters never had a chance:
The voting kept putting them on the brink of elimination, but the judges kept putting them back in competition.

I watched the final twice and really thought that Shae Lynn and Claude should have won Battle of the Blades based on the performances
But others had better voting blocks
