@ferbilkers Oh no, I am 21 and going back to school. I took a few semesters after high school then got lazy and started working a lot. Expenses is what I was most worried about I wasn't sure if financial aid could be used for something like that. It's good to know that financial aid is an option. Really all I wanted to know is if you hit any snags I should watch out for along the way as far as maybe paperwork and other technical stuff. Thanks for your reply.

Tristan, I will be going to UTSA this next semester and I am really interested in studying abroad in Japan. Eventually, I would like to study in Japan. Was there anything special you needed to work out for your study? Any tips or something to make my process as smooth as possible? Also, how did you pay for expenses any suggestions there? Thanks!

@ferbilkers Hello ferbilkers. UTSA is a good school. Did you just graduate High school? if that is the case I would suggest studying abroad your junior year, not at the beginning of college (for maturity reasons). What do you mean by anything special? You will need a passport, student visa, and financial support (a lot) to name a few. It helps to study the language before you go. The language schools are really tough in Japan. I am speaking from experience. Expenses: scholarships and fin aid.
