i use to live 13 years in montreal, ilove it so much. its the best city. im from NDG, i miss it like crazy now that im here in my native country Philippines. I really wish i can come back to a city which really made me.

Many of those pics show St.Ann's district which has been demolished
to make way for condos and sparkling new technology buildings. St.Ann's was where the first Irish immigrants settled in the 1840's and 50's...

I know. Sad isn't it? My mother always tells me stories of her growing up there. I collected pictures from the web for her one day and she was very emotional. It really took her back. I guess thats the price... science of progress?
