Lucid dreaming is simply recognizing that you are dreaming while your dreaming. This very natural and fascinating phenomenon enables you to take control over that dream and do whatever you want. And the best part is, that the experience of every single lucid dream is extremely real!

On the one hand, lucid dreams offer you complete control of the dream content which enables you to experience anything you can imagine (litteraly!). While on the other hand, that experience feels paradoxically as vivid and real as you being awake.

  • I've loved lucid dreaming ever since I went to mortalmist. com. (Sorry, don't mean to advertise). Nice place to learn about this stuff.

  • guys i once became lucid and realised i was dreaming so i smashed the TV lol

  • Lucid dreams are completetly mind-blowing. The only way to know is to have one. You talk about Inception, that's exactly what it's like. You touch things, feel heat and cold, feel gravity, you name it. It was so freaking real that I had to take Cobb's advice "remember how you got here" in order to figure out it was a dream. I couldn't believe it. I had to tell myself the same thing several times. "You went to bed, remember? You couldn't have driven here that quickly, you must be in dream."

  • @PegBundysMan You seriously think lucid dreams started existing because of movies like Inception?

Inception was released in 2010, and monks have practiced lucid dreaming for thousands of years.

I have personal experience in lucid dreams myself as well, and had one for the first time over 15 years ago.

  • @littlepiggy21 Check out DreamViews (dotcom) and LD4ALL (dotcom). Both are really good lucid dreaming sites.

  • @grnaff WTF are you talking about?! This isn't scifi , this is real life.

  • @Eddieost0309 Not completely whenever I want to anymore, I could do it whenever I wanted when I was little but now it's just like every few days/ week or so. I'm a pretty empty-minded person, meaning my mind is mostly clear... I think that's why.

  • @JayTheJaymez anywhere? anytime? how please tell me. a sound file that puts u in the state? techniques? please tell me and send me

  • @PegBundysMan Dude. Don't even fucking mention that movie.

Lucid dreaming was popular WAY before Inception was released. Inception basically added sci-fi elements into lucid dreaming. Limited time? Waking up when dying? Dreams within dreams? Dream Designers? What the fuck is this bullshit? It's made people believe it's THAT limited.

So the next time you talk about lucid dreaming, just make sure you haven't used Inception as a reference as to what it is. There's much more to it than that.

  • I think y'all are taking "Inception" a bit too seriously.
