A Gay.Com article indicates McCain's chief of staff is a gay man. I suppose Smith and Wesson will hire a deer to be its chief of staff during hunting season. Makes the same amount of sense from a deer's point of view.

In the Canadian election, I feel May, the leader of the Green Party, won the English debate. She did very well for her first debate. She put the Greens on the federal map. I am not sure she can turn that into any elected MPs.
Jack Layton was very good, with a second place for the New Democrats. An attention-grabbing line he gave was asking the Conservative leader, "Where's your platform? Under your sweater? You haven't presented one in this election." He did an excellent job of showing New Democrats are a viable alternative to Conservative and Liberal governments.
Dion, a university professor, is very bright. The Liberal leader, Dion, did better than expected, given he struggles some in English. I suspect he would have done as well in the English debate as he did in the French debate, if he had better English skills.
The Bloc leader can be very passionate and articulate. He did not seem that passionate this time.
Stephen Harper looked very bad. He had few good answers when attacked. He looked beaten and unable to lead, not prime ministerial.

According to the Log Cabin Republicans, he is openly gay and has been for a period of time - not sure how long - but gather not recently out. The Log Cabin Republicans are saying this proves how inclusive McCain is. I will post a response from the Log Cabin Republicans in the text (description) area, because I cannot get them to take in the posts.
