What fun!! We raised our girls on Coastal Cohort music while we fished for striped bass in Lake Powell Utah. We name our boat Joy Ride, as in "that money won't do you no good sitting in the bank."

I remember seeing Mr. Simpson about 7 or 8 years ago in college up around Ashville. Just him at some sort of seminar. talked about the coastal musical heritage, played a little. all good stuff.
And since when did they start letting girls be eagle scouts?

This is why I love NC. Saw that show in eastern carolina when I was like 8, loved it. Very nicely done!

King Mackerel and the Blues are Running is composed of my "uncles" Don Dixon and Jim Wann, and my father Bland Simpson, who sent me the link to this. It's really cute, and well made. All the family members of the band approve :)
