The descriptions for the WarioWare D.I.Y. videos can take 45 minutes to type up, which is way too long. So instead, I'll switch to a more typical kind of description. Well, as typical as you'll get from me. Among other people's videos, I rarely ever see descriptions longer than a sentence or two. Me? I sometimes find myself bumping up against the character length limit, which is a little under five thousand.
You'll be able to view all of the microgames' names, creators and their brief descriptions at the beginning of the video. How does that sound? That way, you can visually match the microgames up with their tags. The downside is that these microgames are no longer searchable on YouTube's search engine (which is a lot less sophisticated than Google's, oddly). Then again, looking at the video insight, people rarely search for specific microgames, if it ever happens at all, so it's not that much of a downside.
So, what do you prefer? Do you prefer the microgame previews at the beginning of a video? If so, should I slow down? Or do you prefer a very long description? I prefer the former. It's a big reason why WarioWare D.I.Y. videos slowed down a whole bunch--it became quite a chore to type them up.
Two authors dominate this showcase: Upgrade and Schmidt. Upgrade (Artrocks93) is among the most prolific of D.I.Y. authors, and apparently Schmidt (Crazygamer6) had kept busy during my hiatus. The rest are from various others. I still have some microgames left over, but not quite enough to form another showcase. So if you think I've downloaded yours, be patient--they will appear in Showcase #13.
In this showcase, you can find a revised "Connections," which you may have seen way back in Design Challenge #1. The speed of the plug has been increased, as is the game length, to make sure you always get a shot at putting the plug in the right socket. His impressionistic style oozes forth in allof his other microgames here.
You can also find the "Over 9000!" meme, which I personally find has been played out to death. There was nothing I found too comical about that line anyway, so it's particularly groan-worthy when the characters are laughing at it and the music is full of laughing noises. It's like everything is telling me, "It's funny!" Comedy doesn't work that way.
hello overhazard. why did you take down the old description? I liked seeing your opinion.
PS: No replying "Do you have a shift button?"

@smileykits I believe I mentioned, on another video, that the descriptions I previously made for WarioWare D.I.Y. took me a very long time to finish, so I changed it to this.

Personally, I like your old descriptions better. It was good to see your opinions on the games. However, let me suggest a solution. Instead of putting the games' names all at once in front of the video, why not add each game's name and author as an annotation at the beginning of each game? Then just type up your usual description of games that merit them.

@genius11433 You see, that's why it takes me a long time--it's because I have to cross-reference and check until I make sure I have all of the names right. It would take longer than you might expect because the microgames are out of order.
The Patapon one, I don't understand at all. The ant one, you have to repeatedly click on the foot to prevent it from crushing the ant.
