2 Years without Mara Adams♥

I can't believe it's already been two years. I remember where I was and what I was doing almost all day this day two years ago. But, I didn't know a 6 year old girl died that day.
Mara was diagnosed with a brain tumor called Diffuse Intristic Pontine Glioma. This particular tumor grows on the brain stem and takes away many abilities (talking, walking, laughing, ect.). A child's prognosis with this type of tumor is usually 6-12 months, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. Mara lived a little over 11 months after being diagnosed.
I wish I could have known Mara in person, and although I didn't, she has made a huge impact on my life. I will always remember her.♥
