Traditional Norwegian song. The title means "Mary, she is a virgin pure". Live, 2002. Bukkene Bruse are: Arve Moen Bergset (vocal, hardingfele / Hardanger fiddle, fiddle/violin), Annbjørg Lien (hardingfele / Hardanger fiddle, nyckelharpa), Steinar Ofsdal (flutes), and Bjørn Ole Rasch (keyboards). If anyone knows which church this concert was held in, please send me a message or make a comment. The poor picture and sound quality is due to the fact that this was originally recorded to video (VHS).

Extremely beautiful!

I am deeply impressed by Christian Norwegian songs of rare beauty.

What a shame that Scandinavian counties got seducted by cultural marxism (called for some reasons political correctness) and nobody will probably write or compose such songs anymore.

Advent wreath...Catholics? Well, good on them, I suppose. Perhaps being brought up Catholic by the German side of my family, I take a bit of comfort in it (but to abide praying to "saints" like they were demigods? My protestant side demurs)
