Modded Volvo 850 NA

1997 volvo 850 NA. Mods include, Intake and exhaust port match and pocket port, INmotion tuning stage 2 ECU, exhaust from a volvo 850 T5 (diamter of the turbo is around 1.5 inches larger then the NA cars, comment for more info), Accel air filter, The throttle body was knife edged and the butterfly was replaced with the free flowing volvo 960 butterfly the shaft has been flattened, MSD 6A, and the air box has been modded. you can find them in the junk yards, look for older 850s, the manifolds are a bit more massive, one way to see its a VVIS is to look for linkage and shaft that open and close the flaps.

Also with engine timing did you advance or retard it (Cam belt I mean)

@NorkiddExo it was advanced like 2 dagrees, gives it a bit more power in the lower rpms..

Also how'd you get the exhaust to fit up?

@NorkiddExo The exhaust piping are the same, the NA is like 1.75- inches and the turbo one is like 2.3 inches wide, the only thing you have to do is cut right where the Cat ends so the turbo exhaust can fit where they connect. Also you have to have the two joints from the turbo so you can use to weld the joint to the Cat....you will see if you end up doing it.

You should rub some Armor-All into the grey bumper trim; I did it with mine and it made the trim look brand new (almost black, and shiny).

Sick. well you should do it. i got a 94 850 5spd N/A and i am looking to do with my car what you have done with yours, few more hp. it's already sitting on ipd sport springs and Bilstein HD's and 16 inch '98 V70R Rims!
