Bucs won (sigh) Jags next

Tampa Bay simply outplayed Minnesota. Let's move on.

The Jaguars rely on running, defense, and an efficient, mistake-free passing game, similar to the Vikings. If there aren't too many crazy INTs or any special teams disasters, Minnesota has a good shot to win this game. Maurice Jones-Drew (and, I suppose, Troy Williamson) are dangerous on special teams.

Can the defense bounce back from it's poor shoing in Tampa?

Also: who will win the NFC North? I have a hard time seeing the Bears doing that. The Packers looked consistent this year until the last 2 games. They've got a shot. And the Purple?

They must win the next 3 weeks. Jags, Bears, Lions. Then they have to hope that the Cardinals might pull Warner after a few sacks (avoiding injury because they'll need him in the playoffs) and that the Giants will be coasting in week 1. If they don't win both (or at least one) of those games, they're going to need to knock off the Falcons. Game's at home, but still.

UPDATE: if the Williams boys are suspended, the Vikings are done this year. if they must be suspended, I'd rather it happen now so that we can cut our losses, can Childress, and look forward to 2009.

They benched Jackson after 2 games against 2 TOUGH secondaries (Packers, Colts) WITHOUT Bryant Mckinney!! The Vikes had everything they needed this season but Childress is a puss looking out for his job instead of trying to win right now! I still think the Vikes can win the division but they need to step up and like you said, we need help from NYG & AZ. Ferrotte sucks and don't give him props for not throwing any INT last week. he didn't make any big plays when we needed him & he sucks!!!!!!

I read somewhere that it might be beneficial for the Vikings to at least get Jackson on the field for some trick/wildcat plays. I think that'd be interesting.

I still think Childress pulled the plug on Jackson too soon, and I would love to know what his numbers would be now if he had stayed in, but we'll never know.

Garcia's a good player, but no spring chicken. I'm hoping for Booty to learn quick and/or Minnesota gets Anderson or maybe even Cassel.

bears is a must win if they wanna win the divison, and detriot probably gonna be a gimme, but anything could happen. So if we can beat these two teams then we stil in it, what im worry about is gb's schedule. they have car, hou, jac, chi, and det, while we have ch, det,ari,atl, and the giants, i hate to say it but gb could still win the divison. the only team i see gb losing to is carolina, and maybe jacksonvile.

Because Taylor is better at picking up the pass rush runnin routes and catching the ball. Thats also why he's our 3rd down back..
