  • i doubt the engineers had any sleepless nights makin it, its basicly just a smudge tool, it would of been easy to make.

  • @oBLACKIECHANoo I could see how you would think it's just a smudge tool, but the difference is really how the pixels are "smudged" by the brush type. With any regular brush it does act and feel much more like smudge, but with the new Mixer Brush you can control the individual bristle values of the brush and have the smudging react like paint with rigid edges or wet media etc. It's a much more powerful range of controls to dictate how it "smudges". I'd say they had a few nights on it ;o)

  • I have CS5 Extended for Mac, but there is no mixer brush tool

  • @CellphoneTL If you click and hold down on the brush tool you should see some other brush tool options. Once the popout appears the mixer brush should be visible as a choice. If not, I would suggest reinstalling CS5 making sure that you've cleanly uninstalled any and all other creative suite versions on your machine.

  • hello .... can u pls help me .. i can;t preview-the model of the paintbrush ...example (1.33...) can somebody help me ;;)

  • @bunicullll Sorry for the delayed response. Can you see it in your brushes palette as a choice. You can see me picking it at 0:39.

You may need to reset your brushes in the brushes palette.

  • @oBLACKIECHANoo - This review is a dry heavy load...

  • @bunicullll Yeah I guess so, I can find the tool no problem.

  • @MarkHeaps well i can't see that model of the brush .. should i make a vid ?so u can understand better ?

  • @bunicullll

Are you saying that you can't see the contour outline of your brush? This is a setting in preferences for how you want your brush to display. It usually displays this way by default and if you can't see you may have the caps lock on. That will turn it to a cross hair instead of a brush outline.
