@ReasonGuysCopyright You're absolutely right. It is roughly $600. The wages are fairly comparable to the US, I think. I actually make a little more here in Japan. BUT the cost of living in Japan is ridiculous.

Ughhh I'm so jealous. I hate living in Tokyo. You're so lucky for living in Fukuchiyama. After almost three years my apartment looks so lived in, I'd love to see an update of yours!

@Jatisrose I'd be happy to post an update, but I moved out of Fukuchiyama about a year and a half ago. Living in Nagoya now. I have a slightly smaller, more expensive place now, but I dig living here.

@hellokittypink091 hey! i have lived here for 2 years and will probably stay 1 or 2 more. I'm an english teacher here at some nearby high schools. Thankfully, where I live wasn't really affected by the earthquake. we had a little bit of shaking, but nothing major.
