so the pilgrims celebrated thanksgiving with the indians and then they mass murdered them and nearly swept their cultur of this planet. I realy love the US but one thing really amzes me. We germans suffer under the collective guilt of having commited one of the most horrific mass murders in history while the US a nation built on the genocide of the indians prides itself in its history. That is something you should have a video about!!!

@ryderawr Sarah Josepha Hale was the one who wrote a letter to Lincoln asking to make Thanksgiving a national holliday. In fact, it took her 32 years before a U.S. president said "yes" to her request. Also, the story of the pilgrims and indians is true, there has been left-over evidence and scientific proof of it happening
