paraffin wax is made by mixing kerosene with bees wax. another good source for paraffin is mineral oil. mineral oil + bees wax = paraffin wax. also its chemical makeup is C20H42 to C40H82 thats a CRAP load of hydrogen in this stuff.

@danratsnapnames some of what you wrote is sort-of true, but paraffin is a petroleum biproduct. It is not made from beeswax. I know this is a pretty old video, so the "so-wut" factor is pretty big. Anyway no one else said it, so I get to say it. Beeswax is different than paraffin wax. Just my two cents.

@LittleHairyApe well, your right in a sense.. pure paraffin is different.. however, you can create a close substute that works just as well. the chemical makeup of paraffin is c20h42, mineral oil contains cyclic paraffins, and has 15 to 40 carbons, beeswax has 15 carbons and 31 hyrogens along with many other chemicals.. the mix makes something very close to paraffin. close enough to burn and act like paraffin. take your so what and shove it.. others found this usefull.

anytime.. did you know that dryer lint works just as good! i reuse my dryer lint and roll it into a log then load it up full of wax.. wala, survival logs!

and if you wax your shoes, it makes them water proof.. lol. my next video should be how to make wax from scratch.. lol.
