When i heard something "cracking" at the fire part, i thought it was him mashing the buttons XD Sound like ap retty cool game, although i wasn't born in the arcade generation.

I sure like RETRO GAMING, but I need & WANT THE ARCADES TO COME BACK INSTEAD OF HOME GAMING CRAP! I would like to meet people who love the social aspect of gaming instead of sitting at home and playing over a mic.

woaah, i remember having the very first splathouse in a game and watch-style pocket console. The dude looked like jason with a machette swinging it on bloodsuckers and bats. Nostalgic..

This is definitely the Arcade original. I own a copy of the PC Engine port, and know the differences between both versions. The FM Towns Marty port was arcade perfect. This is being played through MAME.

Yeah the arcade version of this game was hard as hell. I remember getting to that chick boss, and hated getting scratched! And I still remembered her laugh to this day. I eventually got further but never beat it.
